| Alessandra is the Assistant to the Director of the Expressive Arts Therapy Department, a faculty member of IUPS, whose mission is to provide students with a mentor-based, individualized, nonresident and self-paced alternative learning system, with a primary goal to produce competent professionals rooted in deep self-awareness, sensitive to multi-cultural and global issues, and committed to serving humanity. | |||
  The International Expressive Arts Therapy Association supports artists, educators, consultants and therapists using multimodal expressive arts processes for personal and community transformation. We provide a global forum for dialogue, promote guiding principles for professional practice, and work to increase recognition and use of expressive arts as a powerful tool for psychological, physical and spiritual wellness. ArtReach, a 501 c (3) non-profit organization, offers on-site visual art experiences to San Diego County students in grades K-6. The ArtReach team tailors programs to the individual needs of each school, focusing on collaboration, creativity, skill building and fun! ArtReach provides standards-based, hands-on instruction for an entire school, or for grade-specific workshops Because every program is unique, each young artist’s imagination is the limit. ArtReach believes that every student has an artist inside waiting to bloom. |
